And if you're on Windows you can then print all four pages as a new PDF file, and convert that file to an image file, if you wish. I know I can convert these PDF to JPG files and stitch 'em in Photoshop. I thought there might be a way to do it in Acrobat.

Jun 21, 2017 · There is a work-around to produce a combined PDF with layers, e.g. let's say the maps have a layer named "Roads", create a new InDesign layer named Roads, copy the placed maps into the new layer, use Object> Layer Options to turn off all (placed PDF) layers except Roads. Repeat for each additional layer.

Print the document as a booklet from Acrobat, setting your desired single-page dimensions and let Acrobat stitch together your printer spreads to produce the booklet.
