WEBMar 30, 2020 · I installed Office 365 and got the "square orange icon" as the APP Launcher for the various Office Apps. But then the "WORD" app was having a GLITCH. So I UNINSTALLED completely and REINSTALLED Office 365 AGAIN and all the various Office apps GOT installed as normal but NOW I DON"T have the "APP LAUNCHER SQUARE ORANGE ICON" anymore.

This setting in Windows 11 is at Windows Settings > Apps > Advanced App Settings > Choose Where to get apps > Anywhere. If that's already set then you may have bought a PC that has S mode, which only allows Store apps to be installed.
