Feb 13, 2009 · on a snooker table they make a white pencil just for marking the cloth, because snooker cloth is sometimes re-tightened(moved) using a permant marker on it is a BAD idea. you have to use the pencil-you can buy them online from alot of places in the UK.

Previous owner tried to do cushion replacement himself and put regular pool cushions on. What cushion do I need, which is best also in terms of quality?

Part of the problem with the antique Brunswicks like yours are that nowadays you can buy a pretty top of the line table from Shender, Warika or Star for a pretty good price so the only real reason to get a Brunswick is to save money or for the nostalgia of it.

Apr 21, 2011 · K-66 profile cushion rubber should be used to replace the Monarch on your Kling table. The K-55 profile was not used until about 1960. Marv" of course mine was not modified from a snooker table ....so this point may be moot ....but I think there is some mis-information about the k-55 stuff on old brunswicks. hope that helps.

Jun 16, 2008 · I saw Kim Davenport run out 1-6 hole on a 10' snooker table once from the break. The pockets were tight. If you put the 2 1/8" OB on the shelf just where it is about to fall in there was about an 1/8" to 3/16" of space in the pocket opening-which is a tough table. The sides were no bargan either, this was back in around 89 +/- a year.

Jun 26, 2019 · This is a snooker table, but as it already is in need of restoration I believe it could be converted to a 9' pool table with reasonable additional effort. I'm not sure what all that would entail, but it may be as simple as changing out the rails, or maybe changing the rails and recutting the pocket openings.
