May 27, 2019 · aaah, i know! also, i have a lot of mods so.. i'm not 100% certain but i think this mod creates the sunrise/sunset and the other breathtaking effects. installation is a bit weird, though. I recommend downloading scriptorium for TS2, which helps install lighting mods, and other things more efficiently.

Apr 26, 2020 · so here's my problem. i just downloaded the sims 2 ultimate collection for the first time (never played this before, only sims 3 & 4) and i decided to get some cc before i booted it up. i only got a few default replacements and that's pretty much it. in cas, as you can see, the sim looks extremely bright and overexposed.

The MM lighting mod is coded to avoid the blue tone/box issue, so that makes me think you could have installed it wrong or forgotten the shader fixes (or downloaded conflicting shaders, but it shouldn't cause your problem specifically) For the record, I use it and haven't experienced the problem you're having.
