Jun 30, 2021 · The email address seems legitimate (privacy-request@simplisafe.com) but the fact that it refers to a non-existent request seems like a scam. Has anyone else dealt with this? I tried customer support by phone, but the automated operator said wait time is over 30 minutes (another disappointing issue altogether.)

Aug 9, 2024 · I filed information with the state attorney were they are located and with the Better Business Bureau. Simplisafe's response to my better business Bureau complaint was, that they responded to me, and so the BBB closed the case. Although all SimpliSafe did was respond to me that they would look into it my complaint.

Everything can be explained, but if you leave questionable things like this in the room and do not explain it to customers - they will go to another probably worse company or just end up not paying for a service anymore and also not recommending it to anyone else.
