Oct 3, 2023 · Thin sick goat. I have a dry doe about two years old that off feed, thin, and weak. Her flamancha is lighter than I would like. She won't eat LoH which she LOVES. She likes to lie down but can get up and move about. I gave probiotics and b complex this morning. She ate off the tub now she won't touch anything.

Just yesterday I noticed her tail is down a lot, and today she didn’t get up to greet me when I walked to her pen like she usually does. Her brother is bouncing off the walls.

Some supportive things you can do is B complex (unless on corid, then wait a day after last dose) daily probiotics 3 to 4 hours after antibiotics or dewormer/corid. Definitely follow corid instructions provided here on TGS.

Although, if it is neurological, Polio or Listeria is a big possibility, they do go blind and cannot get up, drooling is associated with listeria.
