Hello, I have the latest version of the Microsoft weather app on windows 10 and the location is showing the wrong location when set to detect my location. location is enabled in-app settings, privacy settings, and the icon that shows location is being used on the taskbar is active. Google maps on Microsoft edge can detect the correct location.

Jan 14, 2023 · All of a sudden MSN Weather started to show my local weather forecast in Fahrenheit, BUT only in the app live tile pinned to Start. The settings in the app are set for Celsius, so when I open the app it shows the forecast in Celsius, however, on Start I still see Fahrenheit. I tried to change the region, nothing helps.

Aug 3, 2019 · I have my lock screen set to "show details" of my weather app on the lock screen. It shows the temperature in Celsius even though my weather app is set to Fahrenheit and it shows the temps in Fahrenheit there. I read some other posts that said check my global settings on msn.com, check my Cortana settings, check my profile settings, etc.

Probably the instability is when consulting the weather. The same happens with me, sometimes it doesn't show the temperature but this icon. But it comes back automatically, often after clicking on it to verify the information, the icon comes back. Sorry about that. I await news.

Aug 22, 2020 · In checking, the weather program was updated 8/18/2020, and the windows system this morning at 10am. In the last couple of days, I tried re-installing several times looking for changes that I could make yet, coming up this the same problem. As a side note a second pc was used to install MSN Weather, with the same results.

Apr 3, 2021 · After that, Windows + i, Personalization, Lock screen, in 'Choose an app to show the status' put the Weather, right below, 'Choose which apps show status' put the Weather as well. I hope that is what you are looking for and that you can solve it.

Apr 15, 2023 · Press Windows + Q, search for the Weather app, right-click on it, and then click the Pin to taskbar. However, this is not going to actively show you the temperature as this is the app you are pinning to the taskbar. You can only get that temperature update on the Widget. Dec 31, 2021 · It used to show the full forecast for the day including things like precipitation and sometimes several days if I clicked on it, but lately it's been rarer and rarer, in favor of not showing any more info than is shown on the taskbar, forcing me to click on "see full forecast" if I want to know if rain or snow is being predicted.
