The bathroom was rebuilt in Toronto for Saw 2 & 3, and yes, the producers bought the Scary Movie bathroom from the Weinsteins, but in the end, the cost of shipping it and making it not look like crap made it a poor choice in the end. They rebuilt from scratch for the remaining bathroom scenes in 5, 6 & 7.

But if you watch Jigsaw then you see the Saw in Eleanor’s closet and it’s a hint that it’s the saw from the hallway of the bathroom that Gordon threw out the door. The return of the bathroom trap is very forced. Maybe to raise hype for SAW fanatics. It seems illogical that there is a trap inside the bathroom that we never saw in the saga. If they use this forced trap, I hope it gives Hoffman a chance in the future to free himself using some tool of this "trap" and escape from the bathroom.

Aug 28, 2021 · Ok so bathroom was a set in real life it wasn't a found location or anything like that. Just that there weren't that uncommon to see odd bathroom set ups in old buildings. My personal head cannon is that the bathroom was part of a factory complex. In the turn of the century period companies would build whole complexes for workers.
