I put in a request to Samsung about this situation haven't heard back, this is the SSD that came with the laptop, I believe it's the OEM 980 Pro I just purchased a 980 Pro 2tb and it's running 42 Celsius so I have no ideal what the problem is.

May 14, 2024 · Legion 5 Pro with a Samsung MZVL21T0HCLR NVMe SSD running dual booted Win11 and Fedora 40. Ran into a weird issue where the machine ran into a issue while in Windows and rebooted into a problem it can’t fix.

The SSD that came with my 2021 Legion 7i laptop is a Samsung 1 TB with drive model MZVL21T0HCLR-00BL2, which is a Gen4 drive. I also purchased a Samsung 980 Pro 2 TB, which is also a Gen4 drive. Reply reply More replies
