Oct 16, 2011 · the best SUV is the one you dont put a plow on. When I started plowing, I had a 2003 Jeep Wrangler. It was all I had so I threw a plow on it. Bad idea. Smaller vehicles like that just do not have enough weight and the snow more or less pushed it around. Dont get me wrong, the Jeep had the durability and structural strength to hold up though.

Currently using a Meyers plow on a 1990 Chevy 1/2 ton pickup, but would like a smaller vehicle for some of my tight areas. Dec 6, 2011 · The ribs and structure are pretty heavy-duty on the 5-foot center plow. I bought a used Bolens garden tractor plow blade on craigslist and cut it into quarters to stretch each end, and then filled in the center of each end with some scrap steel plate.

Oct 11, 2010 · The only V plow I would recomend for a Taho or Suburban 1500 is a Meyer 7.5' V LD. But I won't recomend a Meyer to anybody.
