Beware of Dry Firing LCR - Ruger Forum
Apr 23, 2010 · 13. According to the LCR Instruction Manual the " LCR can be dry fired without damage to the firing pin or internal components." Apparently, that is not the case. I purchased my first LCR in early March of this year. While dry firing, the trigger completely locked up. I sent the LCR back to Ruger and after several weeks, they decided to replace it.

Ruger .327 Federal Ruger LCR ammo options
Jan 26, 2016 · Southeast Mich. Ammo options for the .327 caliber are S&W, H&RMag and Auto. If I purchase the Ruger LCR, can my wife defend herself with all of these three ammo options above. She's recoil-sensitive and would prefer something like the 85-95 grain .327 Auto ammo. I'm already aware that the LCR accepts the H&RMag and S&W ammo BTW.

Apr 7, 2006 · Looking at the the Crimson Trace LG-411 laser grip for the Ruger LCR. The grips are smaller and thinner, but don't catch on my cover garment as much. Installation was very easy. Because of my previous experience with CT products on my CZ pistols. It took me about 3 minutes to install the 2 batteries and put on the Laser Grip.

Apr 13, 2015 · The 327 mag is another one of those "not fun to shoot, but good to carry" guns. Sort of like the LCR 38 and the S&W 442. My dream is to find a lightweight snubby that is fun to shoot in the caliber for which it is chambered. It seems like we always have to load down to have any fun with these guns. Just my $.02.
