A winter visit to Roseau is not complete without attending a Roseau Ram Hockey game at the old Memorial Arena. Year round entertainment in Roseau involves unique shopping and dining, various historic sites, arts, gardens, and music.

The City of Roseau maintains numerous park areas for the benefit of the community. City Park: The first and largest park for the community is the Roseau City Park. This park, located in southeast Roseau, provides over 40 acres for recreational use.

Roseau is the largest city in Roseau County as well as the adjacent counties of Marshall, Lake of the Woods and Kittson. Roseau also serves populations in SE Manitoba, Canada with employment, healthcare and commerce and maintains a port of entry 10 miles north of the city.

The City of Roseau Thursday Night Youth Ball program is an introductory and recreational program that runs one night per week from the beginning of June to the beginning of August. This year we are changing to having just two age categories :

The City of Roseau is currently taking applications for the following positions: Full-Time Streets/Public Works Operator- The Roseau Street Department is seeking a full-time public works operator. The Streets Worker performs routine and manual work in the maintenance and upkeep of the streets, grounds and facilities within the City of Roseau.

The City of Roseau owns and operates the 1,000 seat artificial ice Memorial Arena. Memorial Arena was erected in 1949 and its wood frame arch structure provides glimpse back into the rich history of hockey in Northern Minnesota.
