The “Roman’s Road” (a collection of verses that tell us how we can be saved) points out why we need Jesus and how God provided the answer to our big problem. Today we are going to learn the first two verses of the Roman’s Road.

The Roman’s Road is a collection of verses that teach us how to be saved through belief in Jesus Christ. Let’s read the verses together in our Bibles to learn the order of the Roman’s Road verses: 1. Romans 3:10 2. Romans 3:23 3. Romans 6:23 4. Romans 5:8 5. Romans 10:9 6. Romans 8:1

Read Romans 5:1-11 (Salvation provides hope for the world.) Discussion Questions: 1. How are we justified, or saved? (Through faith.) 2. What is “the glory of God?” (God’s worthiness of praise because He is holy.) 3. Why can suffering be a good thing? (Because it teaches us perseverance, character, and hope.) 4.

Read Romans 10:9-17 (Belief leads to salvation.) Discussion Questions: 1. What is the “gospel?” (That Jesus lived a perfect life, died on the cross for our sins, was buried for three days, and then came back to life. Jesus proved He was God’s Son and gives us victory over sin and death when we believe in Him.) 2. How are we saved?

Today we will learn the next part of the “Roman’s Road” (a collection of verses that tell us how we can be saved) and how the payment for our sins, death, is overcome by the gift of eternal life.

Read Romans 8:1, 31-39 (God’s love is forever.) Discussion Questions: 1. What is “condemnation?” (A strong disapproval/punishment.) 2. Why won’t believers in Jesus suffer “condemnation?” (Because His death paid the cost for our sins.) 3. How do we know that God gives us a forever love? (Because He sent Jesus to die for our sins.) 4.
