@RISK 8 represents a significant undertaking - a rebuild of the @RISK code to better support current and future versions of Excel, and an increased support for .NET (alongside existing VBA/COM support) for development.

Getting Around @RISK - Palisade
The @RISK ribbon consists of the following sections: @RISK Menu - Options related to the @RISK application, licenses, and other documentation. Define Section - All functions related to defining the components of a model, including inputs, outputs, and other functions.
Graphing in @RISK - Palisade
@RISK features a range of graph options that include all of the most common graphs utilized in risk analysis. And while there are many different types of Excel graphs, @RISK uses its own graphing engine for generating visualizations for the different components of a model.

@RISK functions can be classified in to several broad categories: Probability Distribution Functions - Includes all the univariate probability distribution functions supported in @RISK. Time Series Functions - includes all the time series functions supported in @RISK.

Starting and Stopping @RISK - Palisade
@RISK is an add-in for Microsoft Excel, meaning that it requires a full version of the program to run (see the System Requirements for complete information). Because @RISK is an add-in and not a standalone application, there are a few ways to start and stop it.
Output Function - Palisade
RiskOutput functions are automatically added by the Add Output command on the @RISK ribbon. It is also easy to simply type the function into a cell that should be designated as an Output. For example, a cell that contains the formula. =SUM (A1:A5)
