For all the talk about how it got bad in the end, I think Roseanne was the sitcom that managed to keep its excellence for the longest time. Most shows have a peak period of a few years, 2,3, 4 the most. But Roseanne kept it up, for good 6, perhaps even 7 years.

The reruns came on each evening at 9 pm and it was a great way to end the day. The forums on here were much busier, because you could watch the show and then log on the next day to talk about it.
