Sep 14, 2022 · I believe the older ripsaw supports 1080p whereas the Ripsaw HD allows for 4k60 passthrough and streams up to 1080p @ 60. Keep in mind the Ripsaw HD allows for 4k60 passthrough since it's HDMI 2.0 and it also does not allow for HDR. If you're fine with that then the Ripsaw HD will work great with the switch and PS5.

The only problem I have is that it's not capturing my gaming PCs audio on the stream. I know how to turn the gaming PCs audio on in Streamlabs OBS, but every time I do, it lags the video capture on my OBS preview, and in stream/recordings.

While I can set up OBS to detect the Ripsaw HD as its own Source, I'm having trouble figuring out how to do so through Discord, as there doesn't seem to be a program/source window corresponding to the Ripsaw.

Jan 20, 2023 · I have connected my PS5 to IN of the RRHD, using the HDMI cable provided by Razer in the RRHD box. I have connected OUT of the RRHD with my monitor. I have connected the USB-c cable directly to my laptop. If I connect my PC or PS5, I am getting a crystal clear sound when coming from my HeadPhones connected directly to the RRHD headphone socket.

Jul 20, 2019 · When I was able to capture the screen output, I had to manually force the resolution to FullHD and replug the Ripsaw several times before it worked. When it didn't work it was claiming that "my resolution would be 2160x1440p30 (which is my screen resolution) and I shall ensure my stream output is the same".
