Jul 1, 2019 · I used to be an avid Railroad Tycoon player. I ended up purchasing Railroad Empire. I like that it has managed tech progress, competition and tasks to achieve but none of it is particularly prohibitive. Sandbox mode is nice but I would really like a mode with base economy and tech, but no competitors or task list.

Moreover, these prices are not permanent—they change over time. Some goods become more popular, causing prices to rise, while others become less profitable.
