Feb 14, 2023 · I returned to the forest, full of excitement and killed the poachers. I step up to the puffskein in the cage and wait for the cue to cast alohomora, only it never shows up. I then notice that the lock is gone, and there is no other way of opening this cage. I have doomed that poor puffskein to a life in a cage because I failed to rescue it.

Feb 8, 2023 · IMO he's a lost cause. It's not even that he's afraid of a Puffskein but because he's too afraid to accept help when offered. Instead he asks a new student (implication of lack of magical knowledge and someone bound to be an outsider) to go to a potentially extremely dangerous place. Just so that he can get proof that he's brave.

Jun 2, 2023 · What‘s interesting: there‘s a second Fanged Puffskein in Hagrid‘s Hut (explore in First Person), that one‘s not a tappy however. It would be interesting to know if the Fanged Beast is there also when not having finished (or even startet) the Puffskein side quest.

Oct 3, 2023 · Apparently Ominis keeps talking about him, but I've never heard a single Puffskein Duncein line from him. I've tried walking in circles and stalking Ominis to coax some dialogue from him until it loops, but I've never heard a single line about it. I'm on PS4.
