Nov 18, 2021 · No recognition, there's a pin on ceremony for prop and wings in end of April for 28ers they get civis then. Culex is more like the comms day stuff than anything else. Think land nav, some night movement, ecp procedures, tccc and ethics. You win and lose as a squadron based on cadet graders.

Jul 19, 2024 · Currently, April 26-28 is the suspected date range for the prop & wings ceremony (when they are Recognized) according to several C4Cs. The 3 day training prior to Recognition is not happening, though.

Apr 14, 2022 · The weather patterns over the last several years prompted the decision to move Recognition to April. In fact, if I remember correctly, it snowed on Recognition last year. The fact that they have Spring Break before Recognition means they can rest up and come back prepared to show the cadre they have what it takes to earn those prop& wings!
