Dec 26, 2011 · Each teaspoon (5 mL) of syrup should contain 6.25 mg promethazine HCl and 15 mg dextromethorphan hydrobromide. Check the label to make sure. I would suggest taking quite a bit less than 50mg though, especially because the syrup contains DM too.
