May 17, 2020 · Yesterday, I visited our local Porsche dealer to test drive two used Macans that they have on the lot. A 2017 Macan S and a 2018 Macan Base. Both were similarly spec’d with the following differences; engines (of course), base tires and wheels on the Base model and Spyder 21”rims and tires on the S. The S also had a heated steering wheel.

If the Macan is dead and needs to be moved, you can remove the whole shiftier panel from the top and manually put the car in neutral by operating the electric solenoid underneath. There’s a storage container under the seats (not very big).

This is the first time I change all brake pads and rotors in my Macan S as DIY (previously I relied on dealer's service department to do this), and the first time I use video to document it. Although the front brake video is 33 minutes long, the actual change took 4 hours.
