This is a list of Pokémon according to their habitats, from the Pokédex in Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen. The Urban Habitat is the only habitat that doesn't have at least one Legendary or Mythical Pokémon. Unown is the only Pokémon that is neither a Legendary nor Mythical Pokémon to be in the Rare Habitat.

There are many Pokemon with a shell for offensive or defensive purposes — some Pokemon even have shells just for show. The types of shell vary from sea shells, to egg shells, to exo-skeletal shells that cover up wings (in the case of several bug Pokemon).

Haxorus has these like...plate-like armor pieces on it. Same with Jangmo-o's entire line. Do with that what you will. Aron line? Maybe debatable. Do Paras and Parasect count? Are Mushrooms shells? CLOYSTER that live in seas with harsh tidal currents grow large, sharp spikes on their shells. Even a missile can’t break the spikes it uses to stab opponents. They’re even harder than its shell. CLOYSTER is capable of swimming in the sea. It does so by swallowing water, then jetting it out toward the rear.

Whether they're eggs, turtles, clams, or magnificent sea-beasts, these are the best shell-clad Pokemon.
