Pixel 2 XL is the GOAT Pixel IMO. That is the year where the camera took a big step forward and cemented itself as the best on the market. Combine that with the new great features like squeeze for the Assistant and Now Playing, and the epic Panda design. Golden age.

I have the Carbon ( dark grey) colour, so it doesn't show stains like the lighter colours do. But the cases can be washed with good results. I've been using mine for a few weeks now and haven't had any fraying.

Pixel 2 XL appreciation. Have had the 2 XL since launch, been an all-star phone to this day even after end of updates. Got the 6 at launch as it felt like a worthy upgrade. I've not been as bothered by some of the software hiccups as others have been but here's what I will say. I took the case off my 2XL as it was getting gross and yellow with age.

PIXEL 2XL Camera suddenly stopped working (Back and Front)
Jul 28, 2020 · Pixel 2 XL owner for 2 years and 3 months. Camera stopped working on July 24th. Camera worked fine for most of the day, took many pictures and several videos until Friday evening; it stopped working Friday night a couple of hours after taking the last pictures; phone was not dropped or damaged in any way but the camera stopped working.
