I won't get rid of the set, sits next to my bar. 1 I was was a broke 20 something and even bought a G10 9.5 driver at 44 inches for a fairway finder and a G10 7.5 at 46 ...

Aug 4, 2010 · These irons are supposed to be more forgiving than the G15's, and I would say generally that is probablly true, but I am not sure you can argue with the G15 performance in any regard. Where they appeared to be different from the G15's was the higher trajectory, and the feel that these clubs were just mainly going to hit the ball straight.

So, went and got fitted last Saturday and came out with Mizuno JPX800s with PX 5.5 Picked up my Mizunos today, just in time to play them this weekend [/quote]

Now that the V1 Rapture has fallen below the G-series pricewise, is it a better value than say....the G15?Basically, due to the reduced price of the Rap...

Apr 6, 2010 · I was at a Ping Demo Day recently and had a conversation with one of their reps. He stated that even though the G5 - G10 - G15 (both woods & irons) were built on the same platform that there were differences on how they distributed the weight and CG. I have hit all 3 and to me they all performed about the same.

May 24, 2010 · I recently purchased a brand new set of Ping Rapture Irons [V1], with the AWT shafts from Ping. It is a great head/shaft combo, super forgiving and $150 cheaper than the set of G15's. Quote

Mar 11, 2010 · I bought G15 irons last fall. I've only played a few rounds with them and some range/dome time, but they are great irons. I'm really looking forward to comparing them to all the other sets of irons I've also acquired and/or assembled over the winter. I do not know much bout G5 irons, but I like the G5 hybrids more than the subsequent PING models.
