"People like me" I returned an item within the 30 days EVERY store gives you. Their return policy states "if you are not 100% satisfied return for full amount" well guess what I was no longer sastisfied.

The reason people frown on petco is because of the conditions at the store. The fish arrive healthy but late become unhealthy because of the setup at petco. Petco also has a guarantee so it will be like any other online vendor.

Feb 4, 2022 · Just wanted to give a heads up that Petco Is carrying a new tank size. 60 gallon shallow/breeder. 48x18x16 - basically a longer 40 breeder. I can’t wait to see these go on sale. A lot to love about a tank those dimensions if they do the 50 percent off sale.

May 15, 2021 · I had a bad experience with the Lava rock from Petco. I introduced it to my fully established tank last year. It led to a massive explosion of brown algae in my tank which i could not control. I threw the rock away. This was just before I was moving. I set up a new tank after move and only transferred live stock.

Jan 30, 2025 · I drilled out the bottom of the tank to accept a 1/2" bulkhead for the drain. There will also be two 1/4 locline returns lower that the sump returns. The closed loop pump is significantly stronger than the return from sump pump. There will be a ball valve after the closed loop pump to be a flow limiter.
