Peng Zhao (Chinese: 赵鹏; pinyin: Zhào Péng) is a Chinese-American businessman who is the CEO of market making firm Citadel Securities. Peng Zhao was born in Beijing, China.

Peng Zhao joined Citadel Securities from graduate school as a Senior Quantitative Researcher in 2006. He became the firm’s Chief Executive Officer in 2017.

Peng Zhao is Chief Executive Officer of Citadel Securities, a leading global market maker. One of the early architects of the firm, Peng joined Citadel Securities from graduate school as a Senior Quantitative Researcher in 2006 and was named CEO in 2017.
