May 17, 2022 · 100% yes, Paul's Online Notes saved my ass in university. While all of the professors I had for calculus were brilliant mathematicians, all but one were actually good at teaching (in a way that made sense to me that is).

May 18, 2021 · The two resources I've listed, Professor Leonard and Paul's Online Math Notes, are the ones that have most been recommended to study Calculus. Is using these two resources, I.E Professor Leonard for the lectures and Paul's notes for extra reading and practice, will I be able to master calculus up to differential equations?

He is a godsend and I wish I could personally write him a letter to thank him. It requires REAL talent to concise math into a simple language that the majority of people can understand and Paul does it masterfully. I've only had 3 people in my life explain math to me in a way that I can understand and one of them is him.

Dec 21, 2021 · Paul's notes is a nice reference if you're struggling with the mechanics of something specific or just forgot a formula. But generally learning by steps and problem types is terrible. And the site has basically no challenge problems.

Nov 9, 2021 · That’s what I’m using but I wanted a reference like Paul’s online math notes has for calculus. It’s a lot of material so being able to quickly reference something for review helps a lot in addition to lectures and an entire textbook.

Nov 13, 2021 · A big gap between paul's notes and AP calc is AP unit 7: differential equations. He doesn't go into it at all, but it's a big part of the AP exam. Aside from that... Paul's notes could work as a primary source if you supplement with lots of AP-oriented practice problems.

Aug 5, 2022 · Difficulty in understanding Paul's Notes I've been trying to learn calculus and heard many people talk about Paul's math notes. The only thing is that the examples are very dense and I'm struggling with even the basic intro notes.
