Mar 16, 2012 · I recently purchased a POF-USA P-308 (16.5" barrel) from Rainer Arms. I received this rifle and was abhorred with what I saw when I opened the box. For a company that prides itself on precision rifles, their quality control leaves something to be desired.

Sep 12, 2014 · I currently own 3 POF rifles and im waiting on my 4th to arrive at my ffl next week. I have never had a major issue with any of them. My early gen 3 p415 with predator rail experianced one failure. The retaining ring on the spring for the gas plug broke. Called up the guys at POF and explained the issue, explained that i bought the rifle used.

Dec 19, 2015 · Update on the ZQI ammo in the POF P308. It won't cycle the bolt in either my 14.5" or 16.5" gen3 POF. Lake City M80, MFS soft point, Wolf ball ammo, and Freedom Munitions Hornady 178 Amax reloads run without any problem. I think we can confirm the problem is the ZQI ammo purchased from AIM Surplus in late 2015. POF rifles are GTG.

Jul 2, 2015 · The Geissele is a 2-stage trigger and the POF is single stage. Which style you prefer is more important than price IMO. If you're a beginner and building yourself, the POF will be a little easier to install. FWIW Geissele makes a G2S that shoots like an SSA but is about $50 less.
