May 19, 2019 · P122d code was intake throttle valve. It was sticking in place when I moved the flap with my finger so I removed it and cleaned it well with carb cleaner and it moves freely. All codes shut off after a bit a driving and a half dozen starts.

Oct 5, 2024 · That said, I've recently developed a P122D OBDII code. I took off the fresh air sensor and it was clean enough to eat off of but then I removed the MAP sensor on the exhaust return and there was enough soot on there to make a charcoal drawing.

this code is triggered by an issue with the intake airflow. could be a problem with the intake airflow valve which is part of the throttle body.
