Jun 27, 2015 · Are "Old Man Emu's" leaf packs the BEST RIDE QUALITY for a NON-LIFTED YJ (or is there something even better)? 2. What is the real-world cost difference, between OME's parts, and other suppliers, including ALL new hardware (U-bolts, shackles, greaseable shackle bolts, and whatever ELSE I'm over-looking)?

Apr 2, 2022 · I've have old man emu on my Jeep for a couple years now. But I have the 4" coils and shocks. It sounds like you are a little harder on them than I am but I just looked at my coils and I don't see any splitting or anything like on yours. I'd agree with the handling though, firm, much better on road than I would have thought when I installed it.

Jul 2, 2012 · This weekend i finally had the time to install my heavy duty 2.5 inch old man emu leaf springs, u bolts, ome greasable shackles/bushings, and spring to frame bolts. I didnt have the easiest time finding a writeup that answered all my questions. Hopefully this one will help someone else out!

Apr 23, 2014 · I have OME 886's mounted on Bilstein 5100's up front. I have had the springs about a year and half now. I have a steel TJM bumper with a Smittybuilt XRC 9500 winch and RCI full skids. My front end has settled about 1.5 inches and now sits a full 2 inches lower than the rear. The shocks are set on the second notch for lift.

Mar 27, 2019 · So I traded my 33x12.5x15 maxxis mudders for a set of 33x12.5x15 Pro Comp all terrains. The difference in noise alone has made a huge impact on comfort. I will never install a set of MTs on my daily again. My old wheels were 15x8 where as these new (old) ones are 15x10. The added width looks nice.

Was curious if some kind folks could share their setup’s on their combination of springs. Using the lights, mediums, or heavy weight springs. I have a soft top on mine currently with no intentions of getting a hard top.

The springs are compressed more than I would like and there is about a 1/2 inch from the front bumpstop hitting the Jounce. Was more clearance before extra weight. Feb 18, 2017 · I just purchased old man emu leaf springs 2.5 lift, and old man emu shocks, for the 2.5 lift. I have a 2003 prerunner Tacoma. Has anyone done this? I just want to know if there is any modifications I'm going tyo have to do. It is it just a swap. It already has lift blocks that measure 1.5 inches. Thanks
