I raced in a lot of states back then and so cal was the only place I saw cars built exactly this way.If this Tom is Thomas L. look at page 213 of your book,bottom of the page. This car has the same steering.

In the late 1970s, we ran a hobby stock class (much like the jalopy class of early years), except our cars were the late 60s performance cars. One of the guys had an old Ford highway patrol car with the still functioning certified speedometer.

A good friend of mine and builder went on a jalopy racer hunt about 20 years ago with just Cash and his truck & trailer and some homemade flyers. He would stop in all the small towns and start asking random people if they knew any old racers.

Aug 21, 2012 · I like to keep parts and accessories original to my Cars and have shown interest in old vintage car jacks. Would it be a good idea to purchase an old jack to use on your vehicle? Has anyone tried it? I've seen old jacks from 1911. Or would it be a better idea to buy a new one? Which jack would you recommend to hold about 4,700 lbs?

I raced about anything that ran on dirt for years, then started racing old vintage cars in 2000. I started Ozark Vintage Stock Car Racing Association in 2000 we race the old cars and have a ball. This is some of them on the track.
