"Any visit to a college campus by a college-bound student-athlete or his or her parents paid for by the college is an official visit. Visits paid for by college-bound student-athletes or their parents are unofficial visits.

Jan 10, 2013 · You are allowed an unlimited number of unofficial visits. You may only take ONE official visit per institution. Each official visit may be up to 48 hrs. So, top players have to be careful with their official visits, but they can go 'unofficially' visit anyone they want.

Took a few unofficial visits (Miami, Northwestern, Tennessee, among others) and took one official visit (Vanderbilt). The recruiting process was really cool. A once in a lifetime experience.

Feb 20, 2014 · You visit with the other players and their families and the yacht returns to port. You're then taken out to the Strip by your UT Ambassador and some lovely denizens of the UT student body. Details are not releasable but you have a great time out on the strip and visiting some local nightlife.

Recruits are still limited to one official visit per school. The change removes the limit on how many different schools you can visit, but it's still one OV per school unless they change coaches after the previous OV.

Dec 21, 2017 · January and February are key for D2 schools, you might even find that a lot of these D2 schools will offer “tryouts” a week or two after signing day to see if they can find some extra talent to offer scholarships or PWO offers. Also take as many visits as you can.

Starting July 1. They can take an unlimited number of officials but can only visit any single school once as an official visit.

USC-another big name school, really far from the family so I'd likely just take an official visit to sight see, then cross them off my list in due time. NC State- Another NC team. Top 3 would likely be 1. Texas, 2. UNC, 3. FSU/UF
