Every format which exports will have it's own feature set - only the original model format will have every feature. The obj format is a common format - but only supports a very simple feature-set.

Sep 12, 2021 · No. OBJ is a simple format, and ironically not the easiest one to work with, because it mixes quads/triangles and uses separate indices for positions, normals, texcoords, which isn't something you want for your engine. You might want to check out GLTF. It's a more complex model format than OBJ, but fairly easy to parse.
