Nissan Rogue vs Honda CR-V vs Toyota RAV4 - Edmunds
Passed on Rav4 V-6 because of lack of available safety features that were standard on Rogue (VDC, etc.) plus Rogue was nearly $4,000 less. Loved the CRV but have always appreciated the road feel of Nissan products, from Maxima to Murano and now Rogue.

Acura RDX v Nissan Rogue — Car Forums at Edmunds.com
The RDX is obviously a more "luxury" crossover then the Nissan Rogue, but I'm still curious about people's opinions comparing the two. After all, people do compare the RDX with the CR-V and Mazda CX-7. From a performance standpoint, I'm sure the RDX outperforms the Rogue, but truthfully, I'm not an agressive driver.
Highlander vs RAV4 vs Honda CR-V — Car Forums at Edmunds.com
Mainly, the Rav4. The Highlander feels a little big to me, the Rav4 a little small, but sportier and with better mileage. The CR-V is about right, but did not appeal to me as much because of its more sedan like feel. I'm sort of ambivalent about the looks of the 2008 Highlander and like the sporty look of the Rav4.

Outback vs Highlander vs RAV4 — Car Forums at Edmunds.com
I've recently drove 2007 rav4 (4cylinder), CRV and legacy 2.5i auto on the same day. RAV4 and CRV were wery noisy, especially on the highway. RAV4 felt rough when switching gears. Out of the three, subaru was smoother, quieter inside. I also liked it's interior better than the others. I have not tried the Highlander.
Subaru Forester vs Toyota RAV4 — Car Forums at Edmunds.com
The Forester "is" a car, so it does meet all the car safety and crash requirements. The Rav4 is considered a multi-purpose vehicle, which is not required to meet those tougher car standards. For example, the rear bumper of the Rav4 would never …

that it will be priced right, especially as it is only being offered with the 2.5 engine. The CR-V only comes with a 4 cylinder and stickers for anywhere between $21 and $28K, and if Nissan is going to start at $27K and go from there, people will either a) just buy a Murano or b) go straight to the Honda or Toyota dealer and pick up a CR-V or RAV4.
Outback or RAV4 (your views) — Car Forums at Edmunds.com
The V6 in the RAV4 is wonderful (same as my van), it's the 2GR and it both powerful and efficient. It's probably the best thing about the RAV4. I felt the interior was a bit cheap, and I don't like the swing out door, which goes the wrong way and blocks the curb if …
