I predict it will not have the construction and form factor that D300 lovers want, but will match the Canon in most regards.</p>

4.1k. Posted January 12, 2008. The Minolta 7D is a massively underestimated camera. Because when it was released it was a more expensive than the competition it was looked down upon slightly... and of course people had waited for SO LONG for a DSLR in Minolta mount. It is an excellent camera and stands the test of time to a large degree.

Jul 17, 2008 · My dads 7D had an aperture base pin problem, or something to that tune, not so long ago. He had it repaired, along with an entire replacement of the shutter assembly for 180GBP. Now, this was the 7D(!), not teh 135mm Dynax 7, but I can assume they are similar in that area. <P> I wouldnt think it would cost that much to repair.
