When you detonate, it FUCKS with the hyperlanes up to 4 jumps away. I detonated one in the L-gate system in my territory, which resulted in that L-gate system losing ALL of its hyperlane connections.

Once you have, you can build it like any other megastructure, but from what I recall off the top of my head, only specific types of stars can host it and they can’t have a power station already over it, harvesting power.
