You can use almost any plant’s stems and leaves to make a vibrant green color. Leafy greens like spinach also work well. If you want a very bright shade, you may have to add some blue.

For GREEN dye, use: Artichokes, spinach, peppermint leaves, carrot tops, snapdragons, lilac flowers, grass, or nettles For BLUE dye, use: Indigo, red cabbage leaves, blueberries, cornflower petals, hyacinth flowers, or dogwood bark For PURPLE dye, use: Blueberries, blackberries, mulberries, red cabbage leaves, coneflowers, or purple grape skins

With the help of some plants, you can dye your own fabrics naturally: Red: hibiscus or sumac flowers Orange: onion skin or dandelion heads Yellow: chamomile, marigold, daffodil, and turmeric Green: spinach or nettle
