Dec 3, 2023 · I decided to try and photograph a new to me target NGC 2264, The Cone Nebula and Christmas Tree Star Cluster. I figured as Christmas approaches this would be a good target to pursue. I shot this target for three nights during a full moon. I'm very impressed with the L-Ultimate filter. All the information about the picture is below.

The Anomaly entering and leaving [Oochorrs UF-J c11-0] System
Sep 1, 2022 · This is how the Anomaly looked as it headed towards the Oochorrs UF-J C11-0 System from the direction of NGC 2264 Sector RE-Y C14-0. The Anomaly approached, entered and then left the system. It's velocity was observed to be very high as CMDRs were unable to catch up to it in supercruise even at max speed (2001c).
NGC 2264 - Christmas Tree Nebula (In Christmas Palette)
Dec 21, 2021 · NGC 2264 actually has a number of objects, and really, the "Christmas tree cluster" is the cluster of stars, not the nebula. But turned this way, I see a Christmas tree, don't you? A small amount of Oxygen-III in the heart of the nebula glows purple, otherwise this nebula is almost entirely Hydrogen Alpha. Usually (and really) this is a red light.
