Jul 11, 2016 · Mucous Membrane Pemphigoid is a little different than Bullous Pemphigoid. I have it in the mouth and being treated with Clobetasol Gel in mouth trays. I may have to take an oral steroid, which I don't want to do if possible.

I cannot take any of the top 3 immunosuppressants: azathioprine, mycophenolate , Methotrexate. I have allergies to yellow dye and yellow compound. Mycophenolate raised my BP to 212/98.

Oct 11, 2024 · I agree with @hrhwilliam about checking for HPV type if this is a mucous membrane origin from inside the body. If it is skin origin then it will not be HPV related. The biopsy will demonstrate the origin. Skin SCC tends to respond differently than mucous membrane origin so treatment recommendations can be different.

Oct 26, 2021 · Does anyone suffer from excessive mucus after eating or drinking. I was diagnosed with Esophageal Cancer one year ago. I started off with chemo, which did nothing and was switched to Keytruda every 3 weeks which has worked wonders. I am still stage 4 though. I was told that what I have is treatable, but not curable. I guess I can live with that.
