The Molly Brown House Museum is a multi-story, Victorian-era home constructed in 1889. We strive to be as accessible as possible; however, due to the historic nature of the home, only the first floor of the house and basement exhibit space are accessible via lift.

The Denver Years - Molly Brown House Museum
Built by notable Denver architect William Lang, the three-story house had four fireplaces, two large lion statues guarding the front of the house, and boasted new and modern technologies, including electricity, central heating, indoor plumbing, and a hand-crank telephone.

Titanic Tea at the Molly Brown House Museum Margaret “Molly” Brown was unsinkable in more ways than staying afloat in the Titanic disaster in 1912. Learn about her life by exploring the historic home then enjoy a high tea with fruit, scones, tea sandwiches, desserts, and Margaret’s favorite blend of tea.
About Margaret "Molly" Brown - Molly Brown House Museum
With their new money and an already growing circle of friends, the Browns purchased what would become their long-time Denver home on Pennsylvania Avenue (now Street) in 1894. By the 1890s, the Denver skyline was filled with hotels, office blocks and looming brick smokestacks.
