Mar 5, 2022 · Let me tell you youngins a story, back in january of 2000 I got my first PC and the very first thing I ever bought online the very first day was the matrix screensaver from wahtisthematrix.com and then it send you to warner brothers if I remember and i paid 3 or 5 bucks maybe 9 I don't remember. It was for windows 98 and It worked into xp.

It's done by running this piece of code "rundll32.exe shell32.dll,Control_RunDLL desk.cpl,,1". It helps the less experienced users that wont know how to activate your screensaver otherwise.

I run both Windows and Linux on different hardware. xscreensaver is the old school package for Linux, I often end up with GL Matrix as my default screen saver on the Linux machines.
