Apr 6, 2014 · If you're trying to complete Barbarian training, you need to use chewed bones (i.e. drop from Mithril dragons). Mangled bones don't finish the miniquest. If you're trying to unlock the ability to use hasta, you don't need to do the chewed bones part. Just do the Barbarian smithing section, which unlocks upon completion of Tai Bwo Wannai Trio quest.

May 3, 2017 · I tried to search the regular resources, but there is some conflicting information and some vagueness on this task. Do I need chewed bones, or can I use mangled? Edit: in case anyone finds this after the fact, you do in fact need chewed bones, mangled bones do not work. Also, killing mith dragons wasnt nearly as painful as I expected.
