Center lines disappearing. Can someone tell me why solidworks is hiding my center lines on my drawing? I added center lines yesterday, everything seemed fine. Today I noticed that they were gone. I go the the hide/show annotation command, and there they are. Now I have to pick them one at a time to bring them back.

Aug 26, 2019 · Here's what I'm doing: 1) edit the table in the part. 2) mark the information I want to copy, and right-click/copy. 3) select outside the table to close it. 4) switch to the drawing window. 5) select the first cell of the drawing table, and hit ctrl-V. My old notes have this as the method to use, but it's not working.

Location Label Question. I am very glad to have the Location Label option in 2015. I want to use it with details to indicate the drawing letter on the top line and the sheet number on the bottom line. There does not seem to be a way to remove/hide the detail letter on the parent drawing (in Detail View) which results in redundant information.

i have a problem with saving drawing template. When i try to save a template i receive a message saying: " A document which references other documents may not be saved as a template". I did not create new template i have just modified (add some links to part custom properties) an existing one and tried to save it by different name.

Now I am creating a Drawing to go with it, where I can select the configuration and generate the appropriate Drawing. I am making a Note in the corner of my Drawing containing relevant notes about the dimensions that are found in the Design Table, but not directly dimensioned on my Drawing. Helix Angle, No. of Holes, etc.

Drawing auto rebuild. When launching a drawing which has not been rebuilt in Solidworks, you are prompted to rebuild the drawing. We select this option and tick the box to not show the message again. This way drawings are always rebuilt automatically. I have noticed, however, that in drawings with multiple sheets, only the first sheet rebuilds.
