I had a thought that I may be able to plug the magic box 2.0 in then use the hdmi port / usbc to a small 12 inch touch screen display that I own for an extra screen for my laptop. Then magnetically mount that display over my smaller display.

It's super light weight, never overheats, and has twice the storage and processing power. it has 8gb of RAM vs magic box's 4 GB, so its twice as fast at processing, and never lags. and it has 128 gb of storage as opposed to magic box's 64 gb of storage. also, its $280 with the promo code TCB.

Obviously I don't put on movies or shows that needs attention lol I put stuff like Seinfeld, sopranos, etc. It makes the long drives (3 hours +) A LOT better. There is a box that's $300, and is the same exact box, I just forget the name off hand. I use the magic box lite.

Mar 7, 2022 · Magic Box is being shut down this month. If you have done TNX, in most markets the T-Mobile network will be preferred unless Magic Box is unavailable. Magic Box has already shut in many markets. All are supposed to go offline this month. The reason is that Magic Box uses the same 2.5 GHz spectrum that T-Mobile is taking over for 5G.
