WEBJul 12, 2013 · Squat on Tuesday and drop the DL day that week. The extra recovery will be fine. I would do some intervals after your lifting sessions, this gives you the same recovery period. 4 x 400m, 6 x 200m, etc. When you are traveling get a longer, 2-3 mile, run in on Sunday. That gives you Monday to recover for Tuesday squats.

I am having problems with low bar squats recently because I tend to lean to a side when sitting back and puts uneven pressure on both legs. I found that high bar squats provide a verticalness which can solve this issue. Also, you can push with your whole body.
