Canon Pixma MX700 - several error codes
Jul 2, 2019 · My Canon MX700 printer is rapidly failing, having been in perfect working order two days ago. Can anyone suggest what might be wrong, and how to fix it? It's a few years old, but has only ever had to cope with light workloads. Two days ago I began encountering "The ink absorber becomes almost full" messages.

My MX700 prints fine since the upgrade from Windows 8.1 to Windows 10 but the scanner no longer works.Have uninstalled and reinstalled the device and the drivers to no avail. My connection to the MX700 is through the network. I haven't tried to see if the scanner works through the USB connection.

Dec 1, 2012 · Hello viveksinha. To try and resolve this issue, please unplug the power from the unit for about 25-30 minutes. Once this time frame has passed, plug the unit in directly to a wall outlet to see if the printer will power on. If the issue persists, please contact our support group using the "Contact Us" link below for additional assistance.

After disconnecting the power cord, wait at least five minutes and then reconnect the power cord. If you are still unable to obtain power to the device, try another power outlet.

Tilt the print head slightly towards the front of the machine and lift out gently. 8. Place the print head in the print head holder and lower the print head lock lever carefully until you hear a click.
