WEBI have just watched the Kefka movies for MG and MG2 and I want to play MGS1 now, I have a good PC so emulation is easy. After looking through some google search entries I have found 3 options: Emulating MGS1 using a PSX emulator. Emulation MGS: Twin snakes using a Dolphin emulator.

WEBMar 11, 2022 · You can enhance the graphics and it even had settings to correct the wonky 3d geometry the PSX was notorious for. Its the closest you can get to a remaster. The best way is probably on a PS1 with a CRT TV. The next best thing is the PS3 which contains MGS1 as well as the HD Collection (2&3), MGS4, MGSV GZ & TPP.

But MGS1 is based on the PSX version, so I am not quite sure that it would be worth playing with Switch. I guess this would be better to play with a PSX emulator since they provide a bunch of enhancement options.

Extreme removes all rations except for those you get from enemies, making you have to farm enemies for them. This completely breaks the pacing.
