May 8, 2008 · I have been looking for some info on the MG74 , Austrian version of the Mg42. Heavier bolt and i believe an adapted trigger group to give single shot capability , also a lower cyclic rate hence the heavier bolt.

Feb 3, 2020 · Main differences from the MG3 are the heavier bolt to slow down the rate of fire and the unique mount. I saw one demonstration (might have been a Larry Vickers video) that used a periscope so the shooter could keep his head down and still see the target. Say sike right now. I love him.
