If you determine that the charging device (not sure about the LT 30) is working start looking for bad connections, Probably the biggest problem on a mill and starting with the battery posts. Aug 20, 2012 · Aspen has some desirable qualities. When I was in high school wood shop I built a dog sled of aspen. I heat bent the runners, front bow and handle bow. It was a light sled, weighed 8 lbs, and could carry 400. Aspen also makes beautifule T&G paneling.

May 21, 2020 · Sticker stain is caused by differences in the speed of drying. Generally faster drying is lighter color. Because the wood under a sticker dries more slowly, especially when the sticker is wet initially or gets wet from rain during drying, the wood under the sticker is drying more slowly and so is darker.

Jul 26, 2017 · Cherry, Maple, Oak, Ash- I'm milling all the Ash I can- Beetle killed Ash is still some great wood if you get it in time. When you want a light colored wood, it's nice. I'm milling all that I can right now. Takes stains great too with great contrast. I also love Osage (Bodark). Like has been said, some of the nastiest logs make some great pieces.

The Potassium percentage, which is extracted for making lye soap, is only around 5%. Potassium carbonate will also increase ph levels and is considered alkaline.

Dec 2, 2019 · It appears that the Gougeon Brothers (experts on boat construction) recommend a moisture content lof 12% for proper bonding of epoxy resin with wood. My wood is below that level at the surface up to 1/4 inch deep - but more like 14-15% at 3/4" to 1" depth. I think I'm okay here on the bonding, but somebody let me know if my logic is screwy.
