Le Chameau Chasseur wellingtons - leather or neoprene?
Nov 16, 2009 · One thing you should do to keep the rubber and zippers flexible etc is buy and use the Chameau spray treatment. Commercial silicone spray also works. Someone mentioned the Nokia boot. I had these before I discovered Chameau. They are excellent boots for the money but not in the same class as the Chameau.
Muck Boots? - Shotgun Forum
Nov 30, 2015 · I wear uninsulated Hunter or Le Chameau wellies in wet conditions where warmth is not a requirement. They are ankle fit and are comfortable to walk in with proper hunting socks and liners. The rubber withstands brush and briars well. Of the two, I would give the edge to the Hunters on price and comfort.
Hunting vs. "Work" boots - Shotgun Forum
Oct 17, 2019 · Check out the Danner Grouse Boots they are not cheap however, I use them a lot, for both hunting and working on my property in Potter/Tioga in the woods. Good boots, choice of insulated or non, for me they last 5-7 years then I get them resoled, and they last another 5 year in the Grouse Woods. all the best, Pine Creek/Dave L.C. Smith Man

Jan 15, 2024 · That is pretty much what we discovered. My 1301 is cylinder bore. The 870's I bought for my department were the LE models with ghost rings and cylinder bores. Both/all shot the 9 pellet Federal LE load as good as one could hope for. I had a "jug" choke in an older 870 wingmaster and it would almost always have a one pellet flyer in both 8 and 9 ...

Franchi 48AL 28GA Opinions? - Shotgun Forum
Dec 22, 2011 · I'm seriously considering purchasing a new Franchi 48AL Field in 28Ga. for cottontail rabbits and grouse here in Ohio. I want something that is light but I also need something utterly reliable, I can't stand a gun that won't run. I'd like to know how the current new crop of Franchi 48AL's in...
SBE 3 Pattern - Shotgun Forum
Dec 31, 2022 · That's one of the perils of CNC machining and mass production: when you do it wrong, you apt to do it 50,000 times in a row. At one time, shotguns were patterned individually prior to leaving the factory. As a matter of fact, Remington still did that with every single 870 LE model prior to the final bankruptcy... I watched them do it.
